TRAVEL & PARKING

Please note that there is no public parking available at the venue!

Public Transport (Recommended)

We recommend travelling by public transport. Take the S6 and get off at Düsseldorf-Garath. From there, simply follow the "World Flag" signage to the venue. For visitors travelling from the southern areas of Düsseldorf, the bus lines 789, 778 and 779 provide additional local connections to the venue and surrounding districts.

Please note: During the event period, the S6 is expected not to operate between Düsseldorf-Wehrhahn and Essen-Kettwig. Please check any service updates before travelling.

Car

Please note that there is no public parking available at the venue. Instead, please use one of our free parking options including shuttle service. Regular shuttle buses will take you directly from each parking location to the venue.

Garath Schützenplatz

Alternatively, you may use the Park & Ride facilities along the S6 line. Please note that parking availability cannot be guaranteed at either the Park & Ride locations or our free shuttle parking locations.

Important: There is no public parking available directly at the venue (Flag Football Complex Düsseldorf-Garath). Please use the designated shuttle parking locations or, if possible, travel by public transport.

Don’t forget your bus and train tickets!

If you are travelling to the Flag Football Complex Düsseldorf-Garath for the Flag Football World Championship using public transportation, a valid ticket is required. Please note that your event admission ticket does not include free travel to and from the venue.

Where can I buy tickets?

The 24-hour ticket is available for individuals or groups of up to five people and allows unlimited travel for 24 hours.

Tickets can be purchased quickly and easily via the Rheinbahn App on your smartphone. They are also available through the Rheinbahn online shop and can be shown digitally on your phone or printed out.

Ticket machines are available on trams, light rail vehicles, at subway stations, and at major stops.

Single tickets and day tickets can also be purchased directly from bus drivers. Please have suitable change available.

Tickets are also available at Rheinbahn customer centres, kiosks, stationery stores, tobacco shops, and lottery retailers.
