Important: Don`t forget your bus and train tickets

If you are travelling to the Flag Football Complex in Düsseldorf-Garath for the Flag Football World Championship using public transportation, a valid ticket is required. Please note that event admission tickets do not include free travel to and from the venue by public transport.  

Getting to the Flag Football Complex:

The suburban railway line S6 provides direct connection via Düsseldorf Central Station, one of the city`s main transport hubs with convenient connections from across Düsseldorf and the surrounding region, offering easy access to the Flag Football Complex. 

For visitors travelling within the southern areas of Düsseldorf, bus lines 789, 778 and 779 provide additional local connections to the venue and nearby districts. 

Where can I buy tickets?

  • The 24-hour-ticket is available for individuals or groups of up to 5 people an allows unlimited travel for 24 hours.

  • Buy tickets quickly and easily using the Rheinbahn App  on your smartphone. 

  • Tickets are also available through the Rheinbahn online shop and can be shown on your phone or printed. 

  • Ticket machines can be found on trams, light rail vehicles, at subway stations, and major stops. 

  • Single tickets and day tickets can also be purchased directly from bus drivers. Please have suitable change available. 

  • Tickets are also available at Rheinbahn customer centers, kiosks, stationery stores, tobacco shops, and lottery retailers.
